Mr. Kudakwashe Manyanga has eight years of experience in environmental management, climate change programming and rural development. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences specializing in environmental studies and MSc degree in Development Studies. A passionate environmentalist and development practitioner. Mr Manyanga is the founder of Grow-A-Tree Foundation, an environmental advocate that seeks to promote re-afforestation in Africa and conservation of trees and fragile ecosystems.

He worked in the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry and later transferred to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Climate specifically in the Climate Change Management Department as a Principal Researcher coordinating climate change research in Zimbabwe. An experienced climate change negotiator, he has vast international exposure in environmental issues and has represented the government of Zimbabwe at various platforms including paper presentations on Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Climate Change, gender and community development.
